Northing Labs is a Green Bay engineering firm that brings industrial-grade automation to local businesses. We design it, build it, launch it in person, and stay on to keep it running.
A-02 — ORIGIN
Why “Northing”?
On a survey map, the northing is the coordinate that tells you how far north you are. It’s a fixed reference you can navigate by. That’s what we want to be for the businesses we work with: a clear, reliable point to build from.
Our background is the plant floor: warehouse management systems, HMI overhauls, and getting equipment from different manufacturers to talk to each other. In that world, systems have to work every shift, downtime costs real money, and nobody cares about buzzwords.
We started Northing Labs to bring that discipline home, to the businesses in our own community, where the tools big companies take for granted can make the biggest difference.

A-03 — SURVEY STATIONS
Rooted in Northeast Wisconsin.
We live here, we work here, and we meet face to face. Walkthroughs, launches and training happen at your place of business, not on a video call with someone three time zones away. After launch, we’re a phone call and a short drive away.

Northing Labs was founded by controls engineers, and engineers lead every engagement from the first walkthrough on.
Eli Frigo
Chief Technology Officer · Engineering
Eli leads system design and engineering. He holds a computer science degree, has been building software since age nine, and brings hands-on experience with warehouse management systems, HMI overhauls and cross-platform hardware integration.
